1) Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Clarity Path iPhone application and our public website (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the app, or by accessing the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service.

3) License and permitted use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the app on an Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the app’s source code;
  • rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the app;
  • use the Service in any unlawful, harmful, or abusive manner.

4) User accounts

If the Service offers accounts or profiles, you are responsible for safeguarding your device and any credentials, and for all activity under your account.

5) Health and safety disclaimer

Clarity Path provides educational content and self‑help tools. It is not medical or mental health advice and does not diagnose, treat, or cure conditions. In an emergency or crisis, call your local emergency number. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or mental health concerns.

6) Privacy

Your privacy matters. The app is designed for on‑device processing. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand what we do and do not collect and how we handle website analytics and support data.

7) Subscriptions and billing

  • Premium features may be offered via auto‑renewing subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.
  • Billing, renewal, trials, and refunds are managed by Apple and subject to App Store terms.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.

8) TestFlight beta

If you join our TestFlight beta, you may receive pre‑release builds that can be unstable and may collect optional crash diagnostics via Apple TestFlight if you opt in. Beta features may change or be removed at any time.

9) Acceptable use

  • Do not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content through any support channels.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or disrupt its operation.
  • Do not use the Service to train models or build competing services without permission.

10) Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, content, and branding. You retain rights to your own content on your device.

11) Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends.

13) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

14) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your province/state and country of residence unless the laws of your jurisdiction require otherwise. Any disputes shall be brought in courts with appropriate jurisdiction.

17) General

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
  • We may update these Terms periodically; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
